• Account information: name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
• KYC/Payout information (Content Creators): PAN, bank account/UPI details, GST details, SEBI registration number (if applicable), address proof — collected for payout and tax compliance.
• Payment information: processed by our third-party payment gateway partners; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: pages visited, subscriptions purchased, device/browser info, IP address, cookies.
• Communications: support tickets, emails, and messages you send us.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account;
• To process payments, subscriptions, and payouts;
• To verify Content Creator credentials/registration status as self-declared;
• To send transactional communications (receipts, renewal reminders) and, with consent, marketing communications;
• To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and comply with legal/regulatory obligations (including responding to SEBI or law-enforcement requests);
• To improve the Platform (analytics, performance monitoring).

3. Sharing of Information

We share information with:

• Content Creators, limited to what’s needed to deliver the service you purchased (e.g., your name/email for a course you enrolled in);
• Payment gateway and banking partners, to process transactions and payouts;
• Service providers (hosting, analytics, customer support tools) under confidentiality obligations;
• Regulators/law enforcement, where required by law, court order, or a valid SEBI/government request.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing use.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for login sessions, analytics, and personalization. You can control cookies via your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Platform functionality.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes (e.g., financial transaction records under applicable Indian law), after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements) by writing to privacy@rabuddy.in. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Children’s Privacy

RA Buddy is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Third-Party Links

Content Creator material may link to third-party sites/tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically; material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice.
